The Kingdom of Shadows took her family, her home, her past, and her very name. A dedicated Eidonite and faithful worshipper of Yesuchi, Asha carries the scars of her past on her body and in her very name. But the Kingdom will not find her helpless again.
Ashah Morran is a twenty-year-old human.
She was rescued from her burning home in Theira by a soldier named Goddard Morran when she was about 5 years old. She had no family, and she would not speak (she remained silent for the first year after the siege), so she became known as Ashah, and Goddard became her guardian. She does not remember what her name was before she came to Goddard, and she only has faint memories of her life in Theira. Her hands and arms were badly burned in the fire, and she wears long gloves to hide the scars.
Goddard kept them in Kittering for about a year after the siege, before joining the Eidonites, and taking Ashah with him. As she grew, the Eidonites noticed her power. Because she does not remember anything about her family, she does not know where this power comes from. Goddard taught her about fighting for justice and right in the world, and Soren, another Eidonite, also a warlock, taught her how to harness her power and restrain the darkness within her.
Two years ago, Goddard, Soren, and other Eidonites went out on a mission and never returned. Ashah has searched for them on her travels, but because of what Goddard taught her, she cannot abandon the cause of fighting the Kingdom of Shadows to devote herself to searching for him. She knows Goddard is likely dead, and ultimately, she believes that the best thing that she can do for him to continue the fight against evil.
